NIFT Form 2024 to be out any moment; Know how to apply for NIFT admission

NIFT Exam Date 2024: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is expected to release the NIFT exam date 2024 soon. Candidates can check and download the complete NIFT 2024 exam date at nift.ac.in, once it is announced. However, it is expected that following the previous year trend, the NIFT entrance exam 2024 will be conducted in February.

It must be noted that the NIFT entrance exam 2024 will be conducted for BDes, BFTech, MDes, M.F.M and MFTech courses. Aspirants are advised to go through the NIFT eligibility criteria 2024 before applying for NIFT admission. Following the official NIFT exam date 2024,

all eligible candidates would have to appear for an entrance examination to secure NIFT admission.

NIFT Admission Process 2024

The NIFT admission process for each programme is as follows:

B Des – In order to gain NIFT admission 2023-24 in B.Des programme, candidates have to appear for an entrance examination consisting of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT). Candidates shortlisted based on marks obtained in entrance exam have to take a Situation Test.

B F Tech - Aspirants seeking NIFT BFtech admission have to take an entrance examination consisting of just GAT.

M Des - Candidates for the PG Design programme, will appear for CAT and GAT. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a Personal Interview (PI).

M F M. - For the M F M programme, candidates have to take an exam consisting of a GAT. Shortlisted candidates will undergo Personal Interview (PI).

M F Tech: For admission to M F Tech programmes are done based on GAT. Shortlisted candidates of entrance examination will undergo Personal Interview (PI).

How to apply for NIFT 2024?

The step-wise process to fill out the online application form for NIFT 2024 is given below.

1. Go to the NIFT admission portal and click on the "Registration" link
2. In the registration form that opens, enter your name, email ID, phone number, and other relevant details.
3. On registration, an applicant account will be created
4. Log in to fill out the rest of the form and select an exam center 
5. Upload documents
6. Finally, pay the application fee to complete the process.

The NIFT 2024 application fee for the OPEN category is INR 3,000. However, SC, ST, and PwD candidates need to pay only INR 1,500
