As per the official schedule, the SEED 2024 application form was slated to open on August 17, 2023. However, the application hasn’t started yet, as official website says application will start soon. Check all key updates about the exam here.
The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) didn’t open the SEED 2024 application form on August 17, 2023, which was the official date for commencement of registrations. The official portal simply states that “Admissions 2024 - Registrations Opening Soon.” So, the applications for SEED 2024 is expected to commence anytime now.
The application forms for SEED 2024 will open online at sid.edu.in. The SEED application form is for admission to the B.Des program which has a student intake capacity of 180 seats.

Step-wise process to register for SEED 2024
The application form will open online at sid.edu.in. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for the program can apply following the steps given below.
- Go to the SID admission portal - sid.edu.in
- Click on the registration link
- In the registration form that opens, fill in all the details.
- Upon registration, you will have to fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
- Pay the application fee of INR 2950. The fee has to be paid online.
- Submit the form.
About SEED 2024 entrance exam
The Symbiosis Institute of Design will conduct the SEED 2024, which is a written exam, tentatively in the 3rd week of January 2024. The exam will be administered in an online, remote-proctored mode.
The scores of the written exam will be used to then shortlist candidates for a Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) round.
The final merit list of SEED 2024 will be prepared by considering the performance of the candidate in:
- Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED)
- Portfolio Review
- PRPI Task and Personal Interaction
