The seat allotment result for Round II was declared on May 10. Candidates who have been allotted seats can accept or decline the seat, or opt for up-gradation (float).
IIT Bombay will open the window for candidates to accept the allotted seat and pay the seat acceptance fee on May 15 (today); the deadline to pay the seat acceptance fee and accept the allotted seat is May 26. However, candidates are allowed to withdraw their allotted seats till June 5, 2022.
The counselling-cum-seat allotment process of UCEED 2022 is being conducted in three rounds. The seat allotment result for Round II was announced by IIT Bombay on May 10.
Allotments for the 3rd and final round will be announced on June 10, 2022.
Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round II have the following options:
- Accept (freeze) the allotted seat and pay the seat acceptance fee. In this case, the candidate wonโt be considered for upgrade or seat allotment in the 3rd and final round.
- Decline the seat - Such candidates will be out of the admission process and wonโt be considered for seat allotment in subsequent rounds.
- Opt for upgrade (float) option - in this scenario, the candidate will continue to retain their existing seat, but if there is higher preference seat available in the next round, the candidate will be offered that seat. Further, in this case, the previous allotment will become null and void.
