UCEED 2023 Participating Colleges, Seat Matrix, Admission Process

Admission to the participating institutes will be based on UCEED 2023 through a joint admission process conducted by IIT Bombay. Also, check what are UCEED result-sharing institutes. 

IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2023 entrance exam for admitting candidates to the B.Des program. There are five institutes that will participate in the UCEED 2023 joint seat allotment process - IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur. These institutes offer a combined intake of 199 seats. 

Admission to the B.Des program will be based on the merit rank of the candidate in UCEED 2023. 

The application form for UCEED 2023 is expected to open shortly. Note that admission to the M.Des program will be through CEED 2023.

Reservation of seats:

• In addition to category-wise mentioned above, 5% horizontal reservation will be reserved for candidates belonging to PwD categories.
• Also, to be eligible for admission under a specific category, the candidate will have to produce a valid caste and PwD certificate at the time of admission (wherever applicable).

What are UCEED 2023 participating Institutes?

The participating institutes of UCEED 2023 will participate in the joint seat allotment process conducted by IIT Bombay after the declaration of results.

Candidates who qualify in UCEED 2023 (or obtain a rank in UCEED 2023) only will be eligible to participate in the joint admission process-cum-counseling.

UCEED 2023 Result-sharing Institutes

These institutes will use UCEED 2023 scores for admitting candidates to their UG design courses. However, they will not participate in the joint admission process conducted by IIT Bombay.
