The counseling for UCEED 2026 participating colleges will be conducted by IIT Bombay in online mode as a Joint Seat Allotment process. 

The allotment of seats to the B.Des program will be based on the following factors:

1. The UCEED 2026 merit rank
2. Reservation category
3. Seats available in each institute at the time of seat allocation.
4. Choices of institutes picked at the time of filing the counseling application form.

Rank list will be prepared based on the total marks (Part-A marks and Part-B marks combined) in UCEED 2026.

All shortlisted candidates will get a UCEED rank. All shortlisted candidates are considered as qualified candidates in UCEED 2026.  Rank list will be prepared based on the total marks (Part-A marks and Part-B marks combined) in UCEED 2026.

The scorecard for UCEED and CEED is available now. It can be downloaded from March 10, 2026, to July 31, 2026.

1. Candidates who have qualified CEED 2026 Exam should submit an Application form in the participating college.
2. Candidates will be shortlisted for the next round by the institute. The next round will be an online interview.
3. Submit the portfolio and appear for the online interview.
4. Result will be declared for the selected students who have cleared the interview, and they will be asked to submit the fee and complete the formalities

To download the UCEED/ CEED Scorecard 2026:

• Go to the scorecard download link.
• A login window will open.
• Fill in your email ID and password.
• The scorecard will be displayed in a downloadable format.
• Download and take a printout of the scorecard.

Application to B.Des Programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur (Participating Institutes) will begin from March 14, 2026 (Saturday), 10:00 AM. The application portal will be closed on April 10, 2026 (Friday), 5:30 PM.

The UCEED scorecard included the following information:

• The name of the candidate
• Roll number
• Date of issue of the scorecard
• Validity of the scorecard
• Marks obtained in Part A
• Part B score 
• Open and category ranks of the candidate 

UCEED and CEED Result sharing List revised as Department of Design, School of Engineering, Tezpur University, Assam joins UCEED and CEED 2026.

DPU Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Design, Pune has been added to the list of UCEED and CEED Result sharing institute. It will accept UCEED Score and CEED Score for Admission.

The UCEED and CEED Scorecard will be out today. Candidates are required to use their Email ID and Password.

Candidates can go through the steps listed below to download the scorecard.

• A login window will open.
• Fill in your email ID and password.
• The scorecard will be displayed in a downloadable format.
• Download and take a printout of the scorecard.

UCEED and CEED Scorecard will be released today. IIT Bombay has not given any specific time for this. 

The final score of CEED 2026 would be prepared by allotting:

• 25 percent weightage to Part A marks
• 75 percent weightage to Part B scores.

UCEED 2026 Counselling will have five seat allotment rounds. IIT Bombay will process the common application form and conduct the joint seat allocation process for UCEED B.Des 2026.

UCEED Scorecard will be available for download from March 10, 2026.

 A tie-break policy is used for awarding UCEED 2026 ranks to candidates.

1. A higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part B.
2. If the criterion given in (1) does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 2 of Part-A.
3. If criteria (1) and (2) do not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 1 of Part-A.
4. If there is a tie even after this, the candidates will be assigned the same rank.

Candidates must note that securing a rank in the UCEED exam does not guarantee admission to the BDes course. Aspirants who make it to the UCEED merit list need to participate in a joint seat allocation process/counseling.

The CEED 2026 Score Card is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result. The CEED 2026 Score Card cannot be treated as a proof of date of birth,
category or disability status. 

UCEED Cutoff helps to determine whether a candidate qualifies for UCEED counselling and seat allocation. Cutoffs are usually based on Part A, Overall score and category (General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, PwD).

All shortlisted candidates will get a UCEED common merit rank (All India Rank). All shortlisted candidates are considered qualified candidates in UCEED 2026.

UCEED 2026 Scorecard will be out at uceed.iitb.ac.in/2026 and CEED 2026 Scorecard will be out at ceed.iitb.ac.in. 

Rank list will be prepared based on the total marks (Part-A marks and Part-B marks combined) in UCEED 2026.

UCEED and CEED Scorecard can be downloaded using the credentials: Login ID and Password.

UCEED and CEED Scorecard 2026 will be released tomorrow by IIT Bombay. The scorecard will be released on the official website of UCEED and CEED.
