UCEED 2025 application process will begin on uceed.iitb.ac.in meanwhile, CEED 2025 application process will commence on ceed.iitb.ac.in.

UCEED, CEED 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is set to open the application window for both the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) and the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) in the first week of October 2024. Aspiring candidates should prepare to secure their spots for these competitive exams aimed at admission into prestigious design programs. UCEED 2025 application process will begin on uceed.iitb.ac.in meanwhile, CEED 2025 application process will commence on ceed.iitb.ac.in.

UCEED 2025 Exam Schedule and Format

The UCEED 2025 examination is tentatively scheduled for the third week of January 2025. UCEED is conducted for admission to BDes programmes. The exam will consist of two parts:

- Part A: This offline-based section will feature 57 questions, including Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The duration for Part A will be 2 hours.

- Part B: This one-hour test will include two subjective questions focused on sketching and design aptitude. Note that evaluation of Part B will only occur if candidates meet the cut-off marks for Part A.

UCEED 2025 Application Process, Fees

The application form for UCEED 2025 is expected to open in the first week of October 2024, with a fee of INR 3,800. Candidates are encouraged to check the UCEED admission portal for detailed updates, including eligibility criteria, exam patterns, and syllabi.

CEED 2025 Exam Schedule and Structure

Similar to UCEED, CEED 2025 will also be conducted around the third week of January 2025. IIT Bombay conducts CEED for admission to M.Des Programmes. The exam will comprise two parts:

- Part A: An hour-long computer-based test featuring 41 questions.

- Part B: A 2-hour offline test requiring candidates to answer five questions. Evaluation of Part B will depend on meeting the cut-off for Part A.

CEED Application Process 2025

IIT Bombay will launch the CEED 2025 application portal in early October 2024, where candidates can find comprehensive information about eligibility criteria, application processes, and seat matrices. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply before the last date.

Important Dates for CEED 2025 (Tentative)

- Application Dates: Expected to open in October 2024.

- Admit Card Dates: Eligible candidates will be able to download their admit cards after completing the application process.

Q:   When will the UCEED 2025 application form open?

A:

The application form for UCEED 2025 is now closed.

The last date to apply with regular fee was October 31; with late fees, applications were accepted till November 18, 2024.

IIT Bombay opened the application form for UCEED 2025 on October 1, 2024.  It also launched a new website and released the admission notification.

The candidate had the option to apply for UCEED 2025 both with regular and late fees.

UCEED application form is for admission to the B. Des programme offered by participating colleges. Candidates who met the prescribed eligibility criteria were able to apply for admission.

Q:   When will the application form for CEED 2025 open?

A:

The CEED 2025 applications opened on October 1, 2025. The application has to be filled online at ceed.iitb.ac.in.

The candidate can apply with both regular and late fees.

All the details pertaining to the CEED 2025 application form has been updated on the admission portals, including the information brochure. The candidate needs to carefully go through the brochure to check their eligibility. Note that information entered by the candidate at the time of submitting their application form will be verified at the time of counseling. Any candidate who doesn’t meet the criteria will be disqualified.

Q:   How can I get admission in IIT Mumbai?

A:

IIT Bombay admission to all the courses is entrance-based (Except for EMBA, where admission is merit-based and performance in the interview round). The IIT Bombay admission process includes the application process, selection round, cutoff, merit list or counselling and other steps. For BTech, candidates have to clear JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Further for other courses such as MTech, MBA, MSc, BDes, and MDes, aspirants need to clear GATE, CAT, IITJAM, UCEED, and CEED, respectively to qualify for further admission rounds. 

- Exam Dates: Scheduled for January 2025, with Part A conducted for one hour followed by Part B for two hours.

- Answer Key Release: The draft key for Part A will be available shortly after the exam, with the final key released in late January 2025.

- Results Announcement: CEED 2025 results are anticipated in the first week of March 2025.
