UCEED Result 2023 (Declared): Live Updates, Download Scorecard, Toppers List @uceed.iitb.ac.in

The candidate will require the following documents for filling out the BDes Applications 2023.

• Signed copy of the first page of the completed application form
• UCEED 2023 scorecard
• Qualifying exam (Class 12 or equivalent) mark sheet
• Photo
• Signature
• OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ PwD certificate (if applicable)
• OCI/ PIO card (if applicable)

The admission committee will determine the institute-wise admission cut-off of UCEED 2023 for admission to the B.Des program by considering the following factors:

• The total number of applicants
• The merit rank of these applicants
• The seat intake in the applied institute
• Category under which admission is sought
• Previous years’ cutoff trends

The allotment of seats will be done by considering the following factors:

• The merit rank of the candidate in UCEED 2023
• The colleges picked and the order of their priority.

Post the allotment of seats, the candidate will have to pay the seat-acceptance fee and get their document verified to confirm their admission.

The DAT Prelims results for the B.Des program is scheduled to be out on March 30, 2023. The results of NID DAT 2023 (Prelims) will be released online at admissions.nid.edu.

To check their results, the candidate needs to log in to the result portal using their email id and date of birth.

The National Institute of Design (NID) will conduct the DAT Mains exam for the M.Des program from March 20-April 23, 2023. Admit cards for DAT Mains were released on March 7, 2023.

DAT Mains for the M.Des program will include a Studio Test and a Personal Interview.

Here is a seat allotment report from UCEED 2022.

The seat allotment for UCEED 2023 will be released in the form of a pdf that will contain information like the seat allotment schedule, seat allotment rules, and the actual allotment.

The allotment list will include the institute-wise opening and closing ranks for admission to the B.Des program. It will also include the roll number of the candidates who have been allotted seats.

Admission to the UCEED 2023 participating institutes will be strictly based on UCEED 2023 scores. Also, the application window will be open to candidates who have been shortlisted and assigned a merit rank in UCEED 2023.

The application form for UCEED 2023 counseling conducted by IIT Bombay from March 14-31, 2023.

Candidates applying for admission to UCEED 2023 result-sharing institutes will have to apply separately to these institutes through their application portal. 

The UCEED 2023 result sharing will allocate some seats based on UCEED 2023 scores. In addition, they may also accept other exam scores like NIFT 2023 for admission purposes.

The counseling process for CEED 2023 will not be conducted by IIT Bombay. Note that IIT Bombay conducts the Joint Admission Process for the UCEED 2023.

Instead, candidates who have qualified CEED 2023 will have to apply directly to the participating institute based on the CEED 2023 merit rank.

The number of questions in each part, including sections, and the marking scheme is given in the table below.

The UCEED 2023 exam was conducted following the exam pattern given in the table below.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Des program at IIT Hyderabad should go through the course fee. 

Genera/OBCl category candidates have to pay a tuition fee of INR 1,00,000 per semester. There is no tuition fees for SC, ST, and PH candidates.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Jabalpur, is one of the participating institutes of UCEED 2023. 

The semester fee at IIITDM Jabalpur is INR 65,290. Other fee components include one-time fees like admission fees, student welfare fees, and caution deposit money.

Along with revising the exam syllabus for UCEED, IIT Bombay has also outlined the exam pattern to be followed for UCEED from the next edition onward.

Part A will be administered thorough a computer-based test and will consist of three sections (NAT, MSQ, and MCQ). 

Part B, which will have two questions: one on Drawing and the other on Design aptitude, will be held offline. The question in Part B will be displayed on the computer screen and the answer has to be written/drawn in the answer book provided by the invigilator only.

The duration of the Part B test will be 60 minutes.

Just like CEED, IIT Bombay has also introduced a revised syllabus for the UCEED exam, which will be effective from the year 2024 onward. As per the revised syllabus, Part B will have now questions from the Drawing and Design Aptitude Sections.

IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED 2023 in 24 cities across India. Each of these test cities had one or more test centers. The list of exam cities is given below.

Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulum, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and Visakhapatnam. 

The program-wise eligibility criteria and admission process for design courses offered at IIT Bombay are given below.

Candidates who have been allotted seats have to pay a seat acceptance fee of INR 60,000 (Rupees Sixty Thousand only) for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL and INR 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) for SC/ST/PwD.

Unless the fee has been paid, the seat will not be confirmed.

At the time of filling out the UCEED 2023 application form, the candidate has to pay a fee of INR 3000 (same for all categories and genders). The counseling registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The counseling registration for UCEED 2023 starts on March 14, 2023. A common application form will be available through the IIT Bombay admission portal. 

At the time of filling out the application form, the candidate will be able to select their choice of institutes (in the order of preference) and personal details.

Registrations for UCEED 2023 are now closed. With regular fees, the online application was open from September 30 to November 9, 2023. Meanwhile, with late fees, applications were accepted up to November 16, 2023.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will announce the results of the NIFT 2023 written exams in March 2023; no specific date has been given. The written exams were conducted on February 5, 2023.

The results would be announced online at niftadmissions.in.

The participating institutes of UCEED 2023 will participate in the Joint Admission Process conducted by IIT Bombay. However, the result-sharing institutes will not participate in the Joint Admission Process. 

Candidates seeking admission to UCEED 2023 result-sharing institutes will have to apply directly to the result-sharing institutes through their admission portal.

IIT Bombay has notified that from the academic session 2024 onward, the CEED 2023 exam will be conducted as per a revised syllabus. So, M.Des aspirants need to follow this revised syllabus when preparing for the exam, and not the old syllabus.

There are currently 20 institutes that will share UCEED 2023 scores. These institutes are collectively called UCEED 2023 result-sharing institutes.

IIT Bombay will not conduct any spot rounds for admission to the IITs. However, IIITDM Jabalpur may conduct a spot round of admissions at the institutional level, if there are vacant seats left after the three regular rounds of UCEED 2023 counseling.

In case there are vacant under the SC, ST, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories, such seats will not be for candidates belonging to other categories. 

There is a 5% horizontal reservation for PwD candidates. Candidates who have opted for the PwD category at the time of filling out the UCEED 2023 application form will have to submit supporting documents at the time of counseling.

The category-wise reservation of seats in UCEED 2023 participating institutes is given in the table below.

The candidate needs to meet the following eligibility criteria to be considered for admission to the participating institutes.

The UCEED 2023 scorecard will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its issue. Using the scorecard, the candidate can get admission to UCEED score-accepting institutes within the given period.

IIT Bombay will issue the scorecards of UCEED 2023 on March 11. The scorecard will be issued to all candidates who have appeared in the design entrance exam.

UCEED 2023 scorecards have to be downloaded online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. To download the scorecard, log in using your email id and password.

Note that hard copies of the scorecard will not be sent to the candidate.

The counseling of UCEED 2023 will be conducted online as a Joint Admission Process and include three rounds. The counseling process includes the following steps:

• Counseling registration and selection of campuses - Candidates who have been assigned UCEED 2023 merit rank need to get registered, pay the counseling fees, and select campuses in the order of priority.
• Allotment of seats - The allotment of seats will be done as per the merit rank of the candidate in UCEED 2023 and the campus option selected at the time of registration.
• Confirmation of seats - Candidates who have been allotted seats can confirm their seats on payment of INR 60,000 (INR 15,000 by SC, ST, and PwD candidates). The candidate may also opt for upgradation in subsequent rounds or withdraw from the admission process.

The responses of the candidates for Part-A of UCEED 2023 can be downloaded only till the declaration of UCEED 2023 results.

The answer booklets can’t be downloaded thereafter.

IIT Bombay will declare the toppers for the UCEED 2023 exam soon at its official admission portal. The topper notification will be released in downloadable pdf format and include details like the name, roll number, merit rank, marks obtained, and gender. 

Additionally, the list will also include the photographs of the UCEED 2023 Top 2 candidates.

IIT Bombay conducts a centralized counseling process for UCEED 2023 known as the Joint Admission Process. 

The counseling and seat allotment for the participating institutes will be conducted in THREE rounds. The 1st round of allotment will be announced on April 10, 2023.

The B.Des is offered by five participating institutes. The institute-wise and total seat intake for the program is given below.

The registration process for UCEED 2023 will commence on March 14, 2023. Candidates who have been issued a merit rank in UCEED 2023 are eligible to participate in the counseling process.

The last date to register for UCEED 2023 counseling is March 31, 2023.

The UCEED 2023 counseling process is open for candidates who have been shortlisted and issued a merit rank in UCEED 2023 exam.

In case the candidate has failed to qualify Part A and isn’t issued a merit rank, he or she won’t be invited for counseling.

No, UCEED 2023 merit ranks will be issued only to shortlisted candidates. Candidates who meet the category-wise UCEED 2023 cut-off marks are included in the shortlist.

IIT Bombay released the cut-off marks for Part A on February 9, 2023.

IIT Bombay released the final answer key for UCEED 2023 on January 30, 2023. The final key was released after considering complaints filed by candidates between January 24-26, 2023.

Earlier, the draft key was released on January 24, 2023.

The total score of UCEED 2023 will be calculated by adding the marks obtained by the candidate in Part A and Part B.

The answer booklet for UCEED 2023 is evaluated manually by experts. Note that there are no model solutions for Part B.

The evaluation is done on the basis of the following formula:

• If the difference <= 12 marks (20%), a simple average of the two examiners will be considered. 
• If the difference > 12 marks (20%), the answer sheet of Part B will be evaluated by a third expert examiner (and so on until the difference <= 20%). 
• A simple average of the closest of two evaluators will be selected as the final marks.
• If the difference in marks of the moderator and either of the examiners is the same, then the higher average will be considered for the calculation of the score.

Part B answer booklets are evaluated only for shortlisted candidates. Also, evaluated answer booklets of Part-B will not be shared with the candidates. Part B is a subjective-based paper and is evaluated manually.

“NO way in hell I am getting 8 marks in drawing,” howled Abhishek Sharma on the Telegram app. Such sentiments are getting louder and louder.

These candidates are finding it difficult to fathom that they have scored such low marks in Part B of the UCEED 2023 exam.

A total number of 4,910 candidates appeared in the CEED 2023 exam, which was conducted on January 22, 2023. A total of 1,886 candidates have qualified CEED 2023. Of the qualified

candidates, 755 are females. Ms. Khyati Rathor is the top-rank holder (AIR 1) in the

Common Rank List (CRL), with 68.85 marks out of 100 marks.

The candidate will be able to see the qualifying marks at the time of checking their UCEED 2023 results.

The minimum qualifying marks will be displayed on the screen.

Yes, the UCEED 2023 result will include the section-wise marks for - Section 1, Section 2, and Section 3. 

The total marks for Part A will also be released.

The result will also include Part B and the Total UCEED 2023 scores.

The result of UCEED 2023 will carry the following information:

• Name, roll number, and signature of the candidate
• Part A marks
• Category-wise qualifying marks

In addition, the following information will also be released for shortlisted candidates.

IIT Bombay has released the list of toppers for the CEED 2023 exam. Check the table below. 

IIT Bombay released the Part A cut-off on February 9, 2023. The cut-offs were released in the form of mean and standard deviations.

The mean and standard deviation for Part-A (UCEED 2023) are 57.63 and 24.52, respectively.

Candidates who managed to meet the cut-off criteria in their respective categories are shortlisted. Also, their Part B answer booklets are evaluated.

It is mandatory for candidates seeking admission to the B.Des to qualify Part A of the UCEED 2023 exam.

Note that Part B answer booklets are evaluated only for such candidates who have qualified Part A and are shortlisted.

Further, all shortlisted (or Part A qualified) candidates are issued Total Marks, UCEED 2023 merit ranks, and Part B scores.

The UCEED 2023 result is currently available.

The result sheet will include the Part A marks for all candidates who appeared for UCEED 2023. However, Part-B score, Rank(s) and Total marks obtained will not be displayed for the candidates who have not qualified in UCEED 2023.

Consequently, only such candidates who meet Part A qualifying marks will be eligible to participate in UCEED 2023 counseling.

The participating institutes of UCEED 2023 offer a combined intake of 199 B.Des seats. Admission to these seats will be based on the UCEED 2023 merit rank of the candidate and colleges (and the order of their priority) opted at the time of filling out the counseling registration form.

IIT Bombay conducts the UCEED 2023 entrance exam for admission to the B.Des program offered by participating institutes. Note that UCEED 2023 scores aren’t accepted for admission to the M.Des and Ph.D. courses.

Admission to the M.Des and Ph.D. courses are done on the basis of CEED 2023 scores.

IIT Bombay declared the results of the CEED 2023 exam on March 7, 2023. The results of the exam are available online at ceed.iitb.ac.in. Results are released for all candidates who appeared in the design entrance exam.

IIT Bombay had declared the cut-off marks for Part A in the form of mean and standard deviations. The cut-off marks were released on February 9.

The mean deviation for Part A of UCEED 2023 is 57.63, while the and standard deviation is 24.52.

If two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the UCEED 2023 exam, then the merit rank of the candidates will be decided based on the following tiebreak policy:

i. Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part-B.
ii. If the criterion given in (i) does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 2 of Part-A.
iii. If criteria (i) and (ii) do not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 1 of Part-A.
iv. If there is a tie even after this, the candidates will be assigned the same rank.

The UCEED 2023 scorecard will include information like the Part A score and category-wise qualifying marks.

However, the Part B score, UCEED 2023 score, and merit ranks will only be issued only to shortlisted candidates.

IIT Bombday conducted the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2023 on January 22, 2023. The exam was administered in a centre-based mode. Part A was conducted online, while Part B was held offline.
