The result for UCEED 2023 have been announced online at @uceed.iitb.ac.in. To check UCEED results, log in to the candidate portal using your email id and password. Scorecards for the exam will be released on March 11. Only such candidates who are issued merit ranks in UCEED 2023 can participate in counseling and seat allotment.
IIT Bombay has declared the results for UCEED 2023 on March 9, 2023. The results can be accessed online through the candidate portal. To check their results, the candidate has to log in to the result portal using their email id and password. IIT Bombay will not send hard copies of the UCEED 2023 result.
The scorecards of UCEED 2023 can be downloaded from March 11 (onward). The scorecard will be released for all candidates who have appeared in the UCEED 2023 exam.
The validity of the UCEED 2023 scorecard is one year from the date of release.
UCEED 2023 results will include Part A score and category-wise qualifying marks for all candidates. However, UCEED 2023 merit rank, Part B, and UCEED 2023 score will only be released for shortlisted candidates.
The UCEED 2023 exam was conducted in a center-based mode on January 22, 2023. The exam was administered in a center-based mode in 24 cities across India.

UCEED exam pattern for next session
Along with revising the exam syllabus for UCEED, IIT Bombay has also outlined the exam pattern to be followed for UCEED from the next edition onward.
Part A will be administered thorough a computer-based test and will consist of three sections (NAT, MSQ, and MCQ).
Part B, which will have two questions: one on Drawing and the other on Design aptitude, will be held offline. The question in Part B will be displayed on the computer screen and the answer has to be written/drawn in the answer book provided by the invigilator only.
The duration of the Part B test will be 60 minutes.

UCEED 2023 Counseling Process
The counseling of UCEED 2023 will be conducted online as a Joint Admission Process and include three rounds. The counseling process includes the following steps:
- Counseling registration and selection of campuses - Candidates who have been assigned UCEED 2023 merit rank need to get registered, pay the counseling fees, and select campuses in the order of priority.
- Allotment of seats - The allotment of seats will be done as per the merit rank of the candidate in UCEED 2023 and the campus option selected at the time of registration.
- Confirmation of seats - Candidates who have been allotted seats can confirm their seats on payment of INR 60,000 (INR 15,000 by SC, ST, and PwD candidates). The candidate may also opt for upgradation in subsequent rounds or withdraw from the admission process.

UCEED 2023 counseling registration
The registration process for UCEED 2023 will commence on March 14, 2023. Candidates who have been issued a merit rank in UCEED 2023 are eligible to participate in the counseling process.
The last date to register for UCEED 2023 counseling is March 31, 2023.

Can I participate in UCEED 2023 counseling if I don’t have a merit rank?
The UCEED 2023 counseling process is open for candidates who have been shortlisted and issued a merit rank in UCEED 2023 exam.
In case the candidate has failed to qualify Part A and isn’t issued a merit rank, he or she won’t be invited for counseling.

Will UCEED 2023 merit rank issued to all candidates?
No, UCEED 2023 merit ranks will be issued only to shortlisted candidates. Candidates who meet the category-wise UCEED 2023 cut-off marks are included in the shortlist.
IIT Bombay released the cut-off marks for Part A on February 9, 2023.

Is UCEED 2023 answer key available?
IIT Bombay released the final answer key for UCEED 2023 on January 30, 2023. The final key was released after considering complaints filed by candidates between January 24-26, 2023.
Earlier, the draft key was released on January 24, 2023.

How is the total UCEED 2023 score calculated?
The total score of UCEED 2023 will be calculated by adding the marks obtained by the candidate in Part A and Part B.

How will the UCEED 2023 answer booklet be evaluated?
The answer booklet for UCEED 2023 is evaluated manually by experts. Note that there are no model solutions for Part B.
The evaluation is done on the basis of the following formula:
- If the difference <= 12 marks (20%), a simple average of the two examiners will be considered.
- If the difference > 12 marks (20%), the answer sheet of Part B will be evaluated by a third expert examiner (and so on until the difference <= 20%).
- A simple average of the closest of two evaluators will be selected as the final marks.
- If the difference in marks of the moderator and either of the examiners is the same, then the higher average will be considered for the calculation of the score.

Will Part B answer booklets be shared with candidates?
Part B answer booklets are evaluated only for shortlisted candidates. Also, evaluated answer booklets of Part-B will not be shared with the candidates. Part B is a subjective-based paper and is evaluated manually.

Yes, the UCEED 2023 result will include the section-wise marks for - Section 1, Section 2, and Section 3.

Mean and Standard Deviation For Part-A
IIT Bombay released the Part A cut-off on February 9, 2023. The cut-offs were released in the form of mean and standard deviations.
The mean and standard deviation for Part-A (UCEED 2023) are 57.63 and 24.52, respectively.
Candidates who managed to meet the cut-off criteria in their respective categories are shortlisted. Also, their Part B answer booklets are evaluated.

UCEED 2023 Part A Cut-off Marks
It is mandatory for candidates seeking admission to the B.Des to qualify Part A of the UCEED 2023 exam.
Note that Part B answer booklets are evaluated only for such candidates who have qualified Part A and are shortlisted.
Further, all shortlisted (or Part A qualified) candidates are issued Total Marks, UCEED 2023 merit ranks, and Part B scores.

UCEED seat intake
The participating institutes of UCEED 2023 offer a combined intake of 199 B.Des seats. Admission to these seats will be based on the UCEED 2023 merit rank of the candidate and colleges (and the order of their priority) opted at the time of filling out the counseling registration form.

IIT Bombay conducts the UCEED 2023 entrance exam for admission to the B.Des program offered by participating institutes. Note that UCEED 2023 scores aren’t accepted for admission to the M.Des and Ph.D. courses.

UCEED 2023 Tie-breaker Policy
If two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the UCEED 2023 exam, then the merit rank of the candidates will be decided based on the following tiebreak policy:
i. Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part-B.
ii. If the criterion given in (i) does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 2 of Part-A.
iii. If criteria (i) and (ii) do not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 1 of Part-A.
