DNB candidates organise protest at NBE office

Association of DNB Doctors is protesting today, on March 2, in front National Board of Examinations (NBE) office in Dwarka Delhi against DNB final paper swapping scam and low passing rate.

Association of DNB Doctors is protesting in front National Board of Examinations (NBE) office in Dwarka Delhi under the banner of the Association of DNB Doctors (ADD) against DNB's final paper swapping scam and low passing rate.

Association of DNB Doctors tweet reads, "Under the banner of Association of DNB Doctors (ADD) the DNB candidates are organising a protest against DNB final paper swapping scam and low passing rate. The protest will start at 9:30 am tomorrow 2nd March at NBE office Dwarka Delhi. More than 100 Delhi candidates have registered to be physically present. Outside Delhi candidates will hold the protest at the institute level simultaneously. We request you to participate in this protest. It's for our future."

The Association has also said, "RTI data- 60 percent MD MS also fail DNB exam. Does India need such an exam at the cost of public health. NBE exam was introduced to achieve UK standards as Indian PG was banned in UK back then. The purpose was to enable doctors to migrate west."

DNB final paper swapping scam

Association of DNB Doctors had asked RTI regarding the DNB final paper swapping scam and it has cited RTI's reply to highlight the issue. 

The Association said based on RTI's reply that the so-called technical error which swapped papers of 48 candidates of the DNB Final exam was only found on softcopy & not on hard copy. Clearly, the hard copies were overlooked or tampering was done on soft copies.
