12 Punjab Engineering College students get financial aid

The Punjab Engineering College Old Student Association (PECOSA) organised its annual general meeting at PEC auditorium. During the event, the annual report and the budget was presented by Jorawer Singh. A total of 12 students of PEC were granted financial support ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 50,000. 

The event was attended by 140 alumni. PECOSA has more than 25,000 members and is managing corpus of about INR 2.5 crore for the welfare of needy and deserving students. Dr Baldev Setia, Dr Rajesh Kanda, Dr Prajapati, TC Bali, HS Oberoi were among those who attended the meeting, as reported by Tribune India.

Punjab Engineering College signs MoU with NIT

Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University) signed an MoU with the National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand. The MoU between PEC and NIT signifies a partnership that will drive research, innovation and academic excellence, benefitting both institutions. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Col RM Joshi (retd), Registrar, PEC, and heads of various departments, PEC.

The Chandigarh Police and Punjab Engineering College (PEC) has also officially unveiled an Advanced Executive Programme, a Certificate Course in Cybercrime Investigations exclusively designed for the Law Enforcement agencies. This transformative initiative, launched by DGP Chandigarh Police, Praveer Ranjan and Director PEC, Prof. Baldev Setia marks a significant milestone in addressing the urgent issue of digital addiction among India's youth. Other dignitaries who were present were Ms. manisha Chaudhary, SSP Traffic, Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur (SSP), Prof. Siby John (Deputy Director, PEC), Sh. Ketan Bansal (SP Crime & SP/Cyber Vigilance).
