AEEE 2020 to be held from August 17 to 23 as a remote proctored online test, check admission details

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will conduct the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) in a remote proctored online mode from August 17 to 23. Admissions to BTech programs offered at Amritapuri(Kollam), Coimbatore, Bangalore & Chennai engineering campuses of Amrita will be based on the marks secured in AEEE conducted as a remote proctored model so that the candidates can attend the exam sitting at home. The authority will also offer admission to BTech courses through JEE Main 2020 scores of January session. The university will also try to offer another chance, in case if an applicant is unable to attend/complete the examination successfully because of unforeseen circumstances.

Office of admissions will support all the candidates attending AEEE 2020 in all possible ways. A dedicated team of admission counsellors, sufficient helpline numbers and staff will be deployed to make sure that there is enough support given to the applicants to attend the examination sitting at home.

AEEE 2020 Admission Highlights

• The university will consider both AEEE 2020 and Class 12 marks to prepare the rank list
• A certain percentage of seats are reserved for those seeking admission on the basis of JEE Mains 2020 (January session) score. Those who have attended SAT in 2019 or 2020 also can apply.
• The entrance exam will be in a remote proctored mode
• The university will conduct classes online for first-year students
• Practical sessions will be conducted once the situation returns to normalcy
• Placements for 2021 graduating BTech/MTech students has commenced in the online mode
• The salary offer for B.Tech students starts with Rs. 14.37 lakhs. The student selected for the internship will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000.
