AEEE 2024 Dates Announced; Check Tentative Schedule for Application Form and Exam Here
Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham has announced the tentative schedule of AEEE 2024. AEEE 2024 will be held in CBT mode and in 2 phases. Check the complete report here.
AEEE 2024 exam will be held in 2 phases. Phase 1 will be held in January and Phase 2 will be held in May 2024. The exact dates will be announced in due course. The online AEEE application form will start in October 2023.
Admission to B.Tech programs offered at Amrita School of Engineering – Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore will be based on the rank secured in Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2024 or JEE Mains Percentile 2024. Candidates can choose to apply via any one channel or via both channels. There are more chances of getting the best academic preference if the applicant applies with both the AEEE 2024 rank and JEE Mains 2024 percentile. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks.
Eligibility to Apply for AEEE 2024
Candidates planning to apply for AEEE must check the eligibility criteria. Candidates must pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board. They must have scored a minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The marks should not be less than 55% in each of these three subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Apply for AEEE 2024
Candidates can apply for AEEE 2024 online on the official website, amrita.edu. The application form must be submitted as per the deadline for each phase. The candidates are advised to have their own personal and valid email ID and mobile number. Candidates are advised to retain the registered mobile number and email-id they have submitted in the application form till all the admission procedures are completed as all important updates will be informed to the candidates through SMS/e-mail or both.
Steps to apply: Candidates need to complete the following sections in order to submit the application:
- Personal Profile (Name, Address & Contact details, upload Photograph, Signature)
- Application Details (Available courses to be selected)
- Payment (Cost of application for the relevant courses)
- Academic Profile (Marks of the qualifying examination & year, Last attended school, etc.,)
- Upload Documents
In AEEE 2024, the questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th. All the questions are of Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers. Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Answers marked can be changed later, before the final submission of all the answers. 3 (Three) marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 (negative one) for each wrong answer.
