AICTE extends admission deadline for working professionals to November 30
AICTE also seeks public feedback on Draft Approval Process Handbook 2024 on or before Nov 17.
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has extended the admission deadline for working professionals to November 30, 2023.
"On the request of large number of institutes those who have been selected to run Engineering and Technology Courses for working professionals (in flexible timing/mode and duration of the course), it is clarified that institutes can admit students and universities can affiliate up to November 30, 2023, only for the approved courses for working professionals notified/published in AICTE website @www.aicte-india.org," reads the official notification.
In another notice, AICTE said that it has given nod to some institutes for running/offering program/course(S) at Diploma and Degree level for working professionals in flexible timings/mode. List of the approved institutions offering such courses at Diploma and Degree level is already available on AICTE website - www.aicte-india.org. For offering Post Graduate level courses in flexible timings/mode AICTE will announce the list of such approved institutions very soon.
Interested candidates can also see the list of AICTE approved institutions offering Engineering Courses (PG Level), and Diploma Courseson the official portal.
AICTE seeks public feedback on Draft Approval Process Handbook 2024 on or before Nov 17
The draft is about the Grant of Approval for setting up a “New Technical Institution” offering a Technical Programme in Diploma/Post Diploma Certificate / Under Graduate Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Post Graduate Degree / PostGraduate Certificate. The New Technical Institution shall be established by providing Infrastructure and other requirements as per the norms specified in the Approval Process Handbook. New Technical Institution offering Technical Course(s) / Programme(s) shall NOT be established without prior approval of the Council. Admission Authority/ Body/ Institution shall not admit students to any Technical Programme of an Institution, which do not have requisite prior approval of the Council, added the statement.
