Like last year, there will be no compulsory questions and students have to answer any five out of eight questions within time duration of three hours.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, (JNTUH) has issued a notification that considering the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, it will continue with the same question paper pattern that it followed during the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning thereby, there will be no compulsory questions and students have to answer any five out of eight questions within time duration of three hours.

In a circular issued to the principals of all affiliated and constituent colleges, the university Registrar M Manzoor Hussain said the decision of continuing with the same exam pattern has been taken looking into the prevailing situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The circular also mentioned that the university has decided to continue with the attendance exemption for BTech, BPharm, MTech, MPharm, MBA, MCA, Pharm D and Pharm D (PB) students. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the JNTUH in 2020-21 had exempted all UG and PG students from mandatory attendance of aggregate 75 per cent.

Holidays from January 8-16

The university had earlier decided to roll back its decision to extend attendance exemption and discontinue the exam pattern, the decision was reversed after the Telangana government issued a circular regarding holidays in all educational institutions – private-aided and government - in Telangana, except medical colleges from January 8 to 16.
