AP EAPCET 2023 counselling Special round approved. Candidates, who are not admitted to any college through Phase-1 or Phase-2 or Spot admissions are only eligible to participate in the Special round of admissions.

AP EAPCET Counselling Round 3 Approved! The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education/CETs-EAPCET-2023 has issued permission to conduct a Special round of admission for 27613 vacant seats in all Private Engineering Colleges even after completion of all phases of admissions. Expressing joy over the latest move, All India Student's Union (AISU), through its official X handle (previously known as Twitter) said, “Big Win for Students! AP GOVT has listened to our demand and approved a 3rd round of counseling for AP EAPCET. This will provide more opportunities for aspiring students.”

Accorded as a special case only for this year as a one-time measure, the official notice stated, “In the circumstances reported by the Chairman, Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education, Mangalagiri in the reference ref.2nd read above, after careful examination of the matter, Government hereby accord permission to the Chairman, Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education for conducting a special round of admissions in deviation of admission procedure laid down in G.0.1st read above, for 27613 vacant seats in all Private Engineering Colleges even after completion of all phase of admissions, subject to following conditions, as a special case only for this year as a one-time measure.”

  1. Vacant seats in Universities and Constituent colleges will not be shown for the special round of admissions. As per G.0 Ms. No. 74, Spot admissions are not allowed for Universities and Constituent colleges and hence admission process is closed in all respects.
  2. Candidates, who have already registered in Phase-1 or Phase-2 and who could not secure a seat in any college under the convener quota will only be eligible for special round admissions.
  3. Candidates, who are not admitted to any college through Phase-1 or Phase-2 or Spot admissions are only eligible to participate in the Special round of admissions.
  4. No fresh registrations are permitted.
  5. All admissions made in this special round may be considered for ND schemes on par with the convener admissions.
