ASTU: Lateral entry opportunity to 3rd semester BTech, MCA

Admissions are open at the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) for the 3rd semester of engineering colleges through the Joint lateral entry examination (JLEE) 2023 and in MCA through Joint MCA Entrance Examination 2023.

The last date to apply for the JLEE 2023 and JMEE 2023 is June 12, 2023.

The online admit card will be issued from June 19, 2023, to June 28, 2023. The examination will be held on July 2, 2023, between 11 am to 2 pm. The result will be announced within 10 days from the date of the conduct of the exam.

The university is responsible for academic regulation of all undergraduate and post-graduate programs in engineering, and pharmaceutical sciences and a few professional courses in science and management sectors. ASTU also conducts an in-house post-graduate course in Energy Engineering. Since its inception, ASTU has been undertaking high-quality teaching and research in frontier areas of science & technology continuously upgrading the syllabi and creating an environment for international standard research and emphasizing bridging the ancient wisdom of the region with modern technology.

"Candidates must apply through online application form. Candidates are advised to read the Instructions for filling up the online Application Form. The applicants must possess the required criteria and educational qualification as mentioned in the Information Brochure, failing which candidature shall be disqualified at the time of counseling, if called for," reads the Information Brochure.
