BITSAT 2020 exam postponed till further notice
BITS Pilani has postponed the BITAT 2020 exam again due to the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Read on to know more.
Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, has postponed the BITSAT 2020 exam till any further notice. As per the information available on the official website, along with the exam, slot booking and admit card release has also been postponed. New dates will be announced later.
The exam was scheduled to be conducted from August 6 to 10, 2020. The institute has also announced the dates BITSAT 2020 slot booking, admit card and direct admission for 12th board toppers recently. Now, the exam and all the related events have been postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier, due to the pandemic, the conducting body also extended the last date to fill the BITSAT 2020 application form and postponed the dates of the application correction window. BITS Pilani did not announce the schedule of the result announcement and counselling. As the dates for the exam are announced, it is likely that the dates for all these events will also be announced after some time.
BITSAT 2020 will be conducted as a computer-based examination for all registered students. The BITSAT 2020 admit card will also be released online only. Earlier, the application process was extended until May 11, 2020, for all aspiring candidates. The correction facility was open from May 15 to 20, 2020.
It is advised to all the students that they must visit the official website of BITSAT 2020 regularly so that they don’t miss any latest updates related to the exam.
BITSAT is conducted annually to provide admissions into undergraduate engineering courses at the three campuses of the BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.
