GATE 2020 answer key challenge to be begin from Feb 19
Waiting for GATE 2020 answer key? Challenge the answer key of GATE 2020 from Feb 19 to 21.
IIT Delhi has released a notification for candidates to challenge the answer key of GATE 2020. The facility will be available from February 19 to 21.
In line with this, it is expected that the GATE 2020 answer key for all the subjects will be available anytime soon. The final GATE 2020 answer key after accepting all the challenges will tentatively be available on February 23.
As per the notification available on the official website, “In the GOAPS portal, a module to contest answer keys will be available from 11:00 hours (IST) of 19th February 2020 till 18:00 hours (IST) of 21st February 2020.”

Candidates must note that they need to pay a fee of Rs 500 for the contest/challenge the answer key of every question. Though candidates are free to challenge any question, they need to provide justification and proof for their objections. The facility to challenge the online payment link will be available on the GOAPS website.
The notification also stated, “Contests will be considered only if the payment is completed successfully. Payment for a challenge that is accepted will be refunded.”
Another important thing that every candidate must keep in mind while challenging the GATE 2020 answer key, candidates should ensure that the question number is as per the PDF file of the question paper uploaded on the official website. While raising the objections against a question the preview of the same will also be shown in the contest portal. Candidates must ensure that they select the right section and the question number.
In case a question number is not correctly identified, the challenge will not be considered. For all the documents uploaded for supporting the contest, candidates must mention the section name and question number in all of them.
For all contests on answer keys, the decision of the GATE 2020 committee shall be final and binding. No correspondence or telephone calls on this matter will be entertained.
