GATE 2023 application form correction facility ends today: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will close the window for GATE 2023 form correction today, November 14, 2022. Candidates who have completed the GATE 2023 application form can use the correction facility and edit it till the end of the day. The link to edit the GATE 2023 application form correction is available on the official website at gate.iitk.ac.in. Candidates will be required to use their enrollment ID/email address and password to edit the GATE application form 2023.
How to edit the GATE 2023 application form?
Candidates can edit their GATE 2023 application form by following the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of GATE 2023 at gate.iitk.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click the "GOAPS Portal" link.
- Log in using your enrollment ID/Email ID and password.
- Solve the arithmetic expression and click on the “Submit” button.
- Check the details mentioned on the GATE 2023 application form and make the necessary correction.
- Pay the GATE application form 2023 correction fee (if required)
- In the end, submit the edited GATE 2023 application form and take a printout of the same for further use.
What details can be corrected in the GATE 2023 application form?
Candidates can correct the following details using the GAE=TE 2023 application form correction facility:
- Gender
- Category
- PwD status
- Contact information for parents/guardians/correspondence address
- Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities
- Roll number, and registration number
- Name and location of the college
- Exam paper and exam city
Recently, IIT Kanpur dropped Ambajogai city in the IIT Bombay zone from the list of GATE 2023 centres. Candidates who have earlier selected Ambajogai as one of their preferred exam centres can now opt new exam centre in place of Ambajogai. No fee will be charged a fee for adding a new exam city in place of Ambajogai. However, candidates need to pay the required fee while editing other details during the GATE application form correction. GATE 2023 exam is scheduled to be held for 29 papers on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023.
