GATE 2023 Registration starts tomorrow; Check Important Dates, Documents Required

IIT Kanpur will start GATE 2023 registration process tomorrow i.e. on August 30, 2022. Read on to know important dates related to GATE 2023 and the documents required to fill the GATE 2023 application form.

GATE 2023 Registrations: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is going to commence the GATE 2023 application tomorrow, i.e. on August 30, 2022. Candidates willing to appear for the GATE 2023 must go through the eligibility criteria and the entire application process before proceeding to fill out the GATE application form 2023. Candidates can access the GATE 2023 registration form online on the official website of conducting authority at gate.iitk.ac.in.

Candidates can complete the GATE registration 2023 latest by September 30, 2022, without a late fee. Candidates will be given chance to fill the application with a late fee amount of RS 500 till October 7, 2022. This year, IIT Kanpur is conducting the GATE exam. On July 27, IIT Kanpur released the information brochure along with important dates related to the exam. As per the announced dates, GATE 2023 will be conducted on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023 while IIT Kanpur will declare results for the same on March 16, 2023.

Documents Required for GATE 2023 Registration

To fill out the GATE application form 2023, all candidates will be required to upload some required documents. The list of documents required for GATE registration is listed below:

Scanned copy of the candidate’s photograph and signature

• Valid Photo ID – Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card/Passport/Driving License/ Voter ID/College ID
• Passport/ Govt. Issued ID/College ID/Employee ID- For applicants from abroad
• Degree/ Provisional/ Course Completion Certificate
• Printouts of the 5th /6th /7th semester mark sheet
• A provisional certificate letter in accordance with the format shared by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept- For final year students
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable)
• Candidates enrolled in a higher degree or master’s need to upload the certificate of qualifying degree
