GATE 2023 Registrations from August 30; Check Eligibility, Registration Fees, Documents Required

GATE 2023 Registrations: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is all set to start the GATE 2023 registration on August 30. Candidates willing to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 will be required to complete the GATE registration 2023 online on the official website at gate.iitk.ac.in.

IIT Kanpur is the official authority to conduct the GATE 2023 exam. The conducting authority has already released the information GATE 2023 information bulletin along with the important dates. As per the announced schedule, the last date to complete the GATE 2023 registration is September 30, 2022. GATE 2023 exam is scheduled to take place on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023 and results for the same will be announced on March 16, 2023.

GATE 2023 Eligibility

Candidates who are currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a UG level degree program or those who have already completed an undergraduate degree program in Engineering/ Commerce/ Arts/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science can apply for GATE 2023.

GATE Registration 2023: Documents Required

While filling out the GATE 2023 application form, the students will be required to upload the following documents:

• Scanned copy of the candidate’s photograph and signature
• Valid Photo ID – Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID
• For applicants from abroad Passport/ Govt. Issued ID/College ID/Employee ID will act as their valid ID proofs
• Degree/ Provisional/ Course Completion Certificate
• Printouts of the 5th /6th /7th semester mark sheet
• Final year students must submit a provisional certificate letter in accordance with the format shared by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable)
• Candidates currently pursuing a higher degree or master’s have to upload the certificate of qualifying degree

GATE 2023 Registration Fees

To fill out the GATE 2023 registration, all the students will be required to pay a certain amount as a registration fee. The registration fee for reserved category (SC/ST/PwD/Female) candidates is INR. 850, On the other hand, other aspirants (non-reserved category) will need to pay a registration fee of INR 1700. For the extended application period, the GATE 2023 registration fees stand at INR 1350 while the other candidates will have to pay INR 2200.
