The conducting authorities, IIT Roorkee, have postponed the GATE 2025 admit card release date. The admit card was supposed to be released on January 2, 2025, but has been rescheduled to January 7, 2025. Read below to know more.
IIT Roorkee has postponed the dates for the GATE 2025 admit card. The hall ticket will now be available on January 7, 2025, on the official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates who have submitted the GATE application form without any error can download the hall ticket from the GOAPS portal.
Will there be any change in the GATE 2025 exam dates?
As the GATE 2025 admit card dates have been postponed. However, the exam dates are still the same (Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025). The official announcement will be made soon by the conducting authorities.
How to Download GATE 2025 Admit Card?
Candidates must note that the admit card for the GATE 2025 exam will be available online only on its official website. There is no other medium to download the hall ticket. The GATE admit card window will be activated once the hall ticket is released. Here are the steps applicants can follow to access their admit card for GATE.
- Visit the official GATE page - gate2025.iitr.ac.in.in
- Click on the GOAPS portal and enter the credentials - GATE enrollment ID and password.
- The admit card link will be displayed on the screen.
- Check all the details and download the GATE exam hall ticket.
How to retrieve GATE 2025 login credentials?
If a candidate has forgotten their credentials, then they can follow the steps below -
- Visit the official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Then click the “Forgot Password/Credentials” option on the GATE login page.
- Enter the GATE enrollment ID, mobile number, and arithmetic expression.
- Select OTP and the details will be sent to the registered mobile number.

Q: Can I join IISc without JEE Main?
The answer to this question depends on the course you are applying at IISC.
