GATE 2025 Admit Card to be Released Tomorrow

The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, is all set to release the GATE 2025 admit card on January 2, 2025. The hall ticket for the GATE 2025 examination will be available at the GOAPS portal - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Read below to learn more information about the GATE hall ticket. 

GATE 2025 admit card: Candidates registered for the GATE 2025 exam must note that the GATE 2025 hall ticket will be released TOMORROW (January 2, 2025). The exam admit card will be available online only and can be downloaded from the GATE GOAPS portal - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The exam will be conducted in Forenoon and Afternoon sessions on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Candidates can check the steps below to download the GATE hall ticket 2025. 

To download the GATE examination admit card, candidates must provide their GATE enrollment ID and password at the GOAPS portal. It must be noted that the hall ticket will be issued only to those applicants who have successfully submitted their GATE 2025 application form. 

The GATE 2025 admit card comprises details regarding the examination and the candidate. The particulars that are listed on the hall ticket are as follows -

• Name of the candidate
• Photo of the candidate
• Signature of the candidate
• Enrollment ID
• Roll number
• Test paper code
• Exam centre and centre code
• Exam date and timing
• Exam day guidelines and instructions

The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, has also announced the GATE 2025 exam dates (paper-wise) on the official website. Candidates are advised to check the schedule carefully and follow the instructions mentioned on the admit card. 

Eligible ID Proof for the GATE 2025 Examination

Here is the list of the accepted photo IDs that must be carried to the GATE 2025 exam centre -

• Aadhar card
• Passport
• PAN Card
• Valid college ID
• Employee Identification Card
• Voter ID
• Driving License

International candidates must carry any of the following ID proofs -

• Employee ID
• Passport
• Government-issued ID

GATE 2025 Admit Card: Exam Day Guidelines

As per the guidelines mentioned by the organising institute, candidates must report to the GATE exam centre 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam. Also, they must carry a valid ID proof along with the GATE exam hall ticket. No candidates can bring electronic devices, such as mobile phones, watches, calculators, etc, to the exam hall. 

For calculations, virtual calculators will provided. Besides, scribble pads will be provided for rough work. Candidates must mention their name and registration number on the scribble pad before it is used. At the end of the exam, the scribble pad must be returned to the invigilator. 

Candidates are advised to check all the details carefully before downloading the admit card. If there is any error, candidates must contact the help centre, mentioning the discrepancy in the hall ticket.
