The GATE 2025 Application Form Correction Window for PwD candidates closes TODAY (November 22, 2024). Candidates who want to modify/rectify/change their details can visit the GOAPS portal and submit their GATE 2025 application form.
The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, will close the GATE 2025 application form correction window for PwD candidates on November 22, 2024. Registered candidates can visit the GOAPS portal—gate2025.iitr.ac.in—to make the necessary changes to their GATE application form. In addition, TODAY is the last date to add or change the subject paper from the new GATE 2025 paper combination list.
How to Access the GATE 2025 Application Form Correction Window?
The step-by-step process to make edits in the GATE application form is as follows -
- Visit the official website of the GATE 2025 application form- gate2025.iitr.ac.in
- Click the apply online link and log in using your enrollment ID and password.
- Once logged in, candidates will be directed to the application form status page.
- Now select “ Edit Paper” and make the necessary changes.
- Pay the application fees and submit the form.
- Keep a copy of the payment receipt and the submitted form.

Online payment can be made via online banking/net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI/wallets. IIT Roorkee is all set to conduct the GATE 2025 exam in two sessions on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The conducting body has announced the GATE 2025 branch-wise exam dates on the official website.
Q: Can I do M.Tech at IISc without GATE?
No, candidate who are looking for admission at IISC Bangalore need to have a valid GATE score. However, 70% GATE score + 30% performance in written test (100% GATE based for Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Materials Engg.) + COAP counselling will be accepted. Apart from this, students might face some problems while downloading the GATE hall ticket 2024. The problem might be due to slow internet connectivity or a heavy load on the server. In such situations, candidates should try downloading the admit card after a short duration. In case any candidate forgets their application ID/Enrollment ID or password, they can reset it. In case a candidate has forgotten their password, they can reset it from the GOAPS portal.
Q: Can I join IIT Tirupati for M.Tech without GATE?
The answer is both yes and no. It is possible to get admission at IIT Tirupati without GATE, but in other courses than MTech. A student can enter into IIT Tirupati via JEE Advanced or IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test) for BTech and MSc. So, if the dream is just to enter into IITs, there are various courses one can pursue except for MTech. However, admission to IIT Tirupati for the M.Tech programme is subject to a valid GATE score followed by COAP Counselling. Q: Is there any entrance exam for IISc course admission?
