GATE 2025 Application Form With Late Fees

The closing date of the extended GATE online application form will close on October 7, 2024 (Monday). Candidates willing to apply for higher degree programs or PSU jobs can visit the official website of GATE - gate2025.iitr.ac.in and fill out the application form. IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE 2025 exam on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025

How to fill out the GATE 2025 application form?

Candidates must register at the GOAPS portal to apply for the GATE exam. The mode of the application form for GATE is online. The GATE 2025 registration requires personal information such as name, contact details, and e-mail address to generate the GATE enrollment ID and password.

Using the GATE candidate login, candidates can complete and submit the GATE application form, upload the documents, and pay the GATE application fees. After submitting the application form, candidates must keep a copy for reference purposes. 

Information Required to Fill the GATE Application Form

The following details are required to fill out the GATE application form -

  • Address of communication (including PIN Code)
  • Eligibility degree details
  • College name and address with PIN Code
  • Choice of GATE test papers
  • Choice of GATE exam cities 
  • A high-quality image of the candidate photograph as per the specifications
  • Good quality image of the candidate’s signature conforming to the requirements
  • A scanned copy of the valid photo identity card (the same ID must be carried to the exam hall)
  • A scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable in PDF format)
  • A scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable in PDF format)
  • A scanned copy of a dyslexic certificate (if applicable in PDF format)
  • Net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI details for the payment 

GATE 2025 Application Form Status

Candidates who have submitted the GATE 2025 application form can check its status. To do so, candidates must provide their enrollment ID and password. If the application form is under scrutiny, candidates must rectify their details as suggested by the GATE conducting authorities and submit it within the prescribed date. The status can be checked at the GOAPS portal

Q:   Can I join IISc without JEE Main?

A:

IISC Bangalore accepts JEE Main score for BTech admission 2024. The university has different admission criteria as per course requirement. IISc Bangalore offers a four-year BTech in Mathematics and Computing divided into eight semesters. The course is divided into two parts, i.e., Core Courses and Soft Core Courses.

Q:   Who is eligible for IIT Delhi MSc course?

A:

Candidates applying to a MSc course in IIT Delhi must fulfil the required eligibility criteria. Thus, aspirant must hold a valid bachelor's degree in a relevant stream for at least two years (four semesters) and a minimum aggregate between 55% and 80% or 5.5 CGPA out of 10. For MSc cognitive science/economic courses, the accepted degrees are BA/BSc/BCom/BTech/BE/BStat/BMath or equivalent. The total course fee for MSc course is ranges between INR 30K and INR 3 lakh.

Q:   Do I need to give any entrance exam for admission to BSc at IIT Roorkee?

A:

Yes, in order to take admission in IIT Roorkee BSc courses, candidates must first qualify JEE Main. Students who qualify JEE Main are then required to register and appear for JEE Advanced. This exam is conducted by one of the IITs every year by rotation under the supervision of a Joint Admission Board, which comprises of representatives from all the IITs. IIT Roorkee makes the selection based on candidate’s rank according to the merit in JEE Main+ JEE Advanced.
