GATE 2025 Paper Adding Facility Open: Check How to Add Test Paper, Fees, and More

IIT Roorkee has opened the facility to add a secondary GATE 2025 Test Paper. Candidates who want to add GATE Paper II can visit the GOAPS portal and complete the process. The GATE 2025 application form was closed on October 3, 2024 (without late fees) and October 11, 2024 (with late fees). Read below for more. 

GATE 2025 registrations are now over. The last date to submit the GATE application form with late fees was October 11, 2024. However, candidates who have successfully submitted their application form can add a secondary GATE paper. The GOAPS portal is still open for this. IIT Roorkee is conducting the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, in two phases: Morning (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and Afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). 

How to Add GATE 2025 Test Paper after the Due Date?

IIT Roorkee has kept the GATE application link active on its official website- gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates who want to add paper II can follow the steps below -

• Visit the official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in
• Go to the application section and click on the “Apply Online” option
• Log in using your enrollment ID/e-mail address and password 
• After logging, the GATE application form status will be displayed on the screen. 
• If you have submitted your GATE application form with one test paper. You can find the option down below to add paper.
• Select the “GATE Paper II” and submit.
• Go through the instructions and proceed to make the payment. 
• After completing the payment, keep the receipt for future reference.

Payment Modes Accepted 

Candidates have to pay an amount of INR 2300/- from any of the following payment modes -

• Debit Card - Ru Pay/Master/Visa
• Credit Card - Master/Visa/Ru Pay/Amex/Diners
• Net Banking
• UPI
• Wallets

GATE 2025 Application Form Correction

The GATE 2025 application form correction facility is available from October 31, 2024, to November 10, 2024. The last date to submit the edited GATE application form is November 10, 2024. The application correction window can be accessed at the GOAPS portal. Here are the following details that can be changed during the GATE 2025 form correction facility -

• Gender
• Category
• PwD status
• Dyslexia and other similar disabilities
• Details of parents/guardians/correspondence address
• Examination paper
• Exam Centre/Cities details
