GITAM University started the GAT 2024 application process on October 27. And now, the varsity has released the GAT exam dates and complete schedule. The schedule differs for MBA and other UG, PG courses. Check the complete report here.
GITAM Releases GAT 2024 Exam Date
GITAM has released the GITAM GAT 2024 exam date. The GAT 2024 exam date for MBA is December 17, 2023. The exam for BTech and all other courses is January 6, 2024 and January 7, 2024, respectively. The last date to apply for GAT MBA is December 15 and for all other courses is January 4.
After the GAT 2024 CBT exam that will be held across various Indian states, personal interviews will be held. The PI dates have also been released. GAT 2024 PI for MBA admission will be held from December 17 to 20, 2023 and for all other courses it will be held from January 7 to 10, 2024.
After the PI is over, the GAT 2024 result will be out. The GAT MBA results will be announced on December 22. For all other courses, the results will be out on January 12.

GITAM Admission Test (GAT) is a computer-based entrance examination conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the prestigious Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM). The exam is conducted across various states in India and also as an online proctored test for some courses. GAT is the common test for admission to all GITAM campuses at Vishakapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and GIMSR.
The test duration varies between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the course for which the exam is being held. The test consists of objective-type questions, with each question having four options, out of which one is correct. Each correct answer is awarded 1 or 2 marks, while wrong answers and unanswered questions receive nil marks.
Candidates who have scores of JEE Main, TS EAMCET, or AP EAMCET are exempted from taking the GAT. However, candidates who have not appeared for any of the mentioned exams would need to apply and appear for the GITAM Admission Test (GAT) to qualify for engineering at GITAM.
