GUJCET 2024 Rescheduled to Avoid Clash with CBSE Board Exams, New Dates Released

GUJCET 2024: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has revised the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2024 exam date. Candidates can check the detailed notice on the official website: gsebeservice.com. The entrance exam has been rescheduled to avoid clas with CBSE board exam 2024. 

As per the revised date, GUJCET 2024 will be held on March 31 (Sunday) instead of April 2. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12th board exam 2024 are scheduled to be conducted from February 15 to April 2. 

The official notice by GSEB states, “As CBSE board exam is held on the said date, GUJCET – 2024 exam will be held on Sunday 31/03/2024 instead of 02/04/2024. This should be noted by school principals/guardians, students and all concerned.”

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is conducted for admission into to pharmacy and engineering courses across Gujarat. The exam will include 120 multiple-choice questions from these subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. As per the marking scheme, one mark is given for each correct answer and 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. As per reports, this year, more than 1.26 lakh students took the entrance examination.
