IIIT Delhi is inviting applications for PhD admission in different programmes. Candidates qualified for UGC/CSIR JRF, DST INSPIRE, DBT Fellowship and BTech. graduates with research aptitude can apply. Know dates, eligibility and IIIT Delhi PhD admission process here 

IIIT Delhi PhD Admission: The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi has started the application process for admission to PhD programmes. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for IIIT Delhi PhD admission in the following programmes: Computational Biology (CB), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Human-Centered Design (HCD), Mathematics (Maths), and Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH).

The last date to fill out the IIIT Delhi PhD admission application form is April 14, 2024. They can apply only through the online application portal. They must note that, if they are applying for more than one discipline, they need to submit a separate application.

How to apply for IIIT Delhi PhD Admission? 

Candidates have to visit the official website to apply for PhD admission at IIIT Delhi. There is no provision for offline submission of application forms. They need to fill up all the asked details, pay the application fees and upload the specified documents. Those belonging to SC/ST/DA have to pay INR 150 whereas other candidates have to pay INR 300. 

After submission of IIIT Delhi PhD application form, they will receive an application number and a link to download the application form. They need to carry a hard copy of the application form and self-attested copies of all the relevant documents at the time of the interview.

Who are eligible to apply for IIIT Delhi PhD Admission 2024? 

For regular PhD, candidates who are not holding regular work/employment and are primarily engaged in their academic programme will be eligible. Those who are already employed will have to resign and submit the relieving before joining the programme.

For sponsored PhD, the IIIT-Delhi allows highly motivated working professionals to pursue a PhD degree while still employed at the sponsoring organisation.
