Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has invited applications from young researchers interested in the area of computation chemistry. Interested candidates can mail their curriculum vitae to indhu.m@ihub-data.iiit.ac.in. The last date to submit application is June 5, 2023. Those who join the programme will be mentored by machine learning/computational scientists from academia and industry and get an opportunity to join PhD and MS research programmes. They will also get a monthly stipend of INR 15000. 

Eligibility criteria: 

  • Candidates interested in joining IIIT Hyderabad computation chemistry programme should have done MSc/BTech/MTech and should have strong research aptitude. 
  • They must also have knowledge of MD simulations and handle Linux environments. 

IIIT Hyderabad has recently collaborated with Synergy Quantum India (SQ India) to establish the Synergy Quantum Solution Lab (SQSL@IIITH). The primary objective of the partnership is to create economically viable quantum technologies and explore their potential applications in military and civilian domains. The lab’s primary research focus will be on quantum communication technologies, particularly in the areas of post-quantum encryption, quantum key distribution, quantum random number generators, and quantum sensing, including quantum navigation.
