IIT Bhilai, TU Berlin to organize workshop on Harnessing Green Hydrogen and Allied Areas

IIT Bhilai & TU Berlin is jointly organizing a Indo-German Bilateral Workshop: Recent Advances on Harnessing Green Hydrogen and Allied Areas supported by Indo-German Science and Technology Centre (IGSTC) from November 22 to Novmeber 24, 2023.

Also, A GIAN course entitled FUNCTIONAL FLUOROPOLYMERS FOR EMERGING APPLICATIONS is being organized from Novemer 17-21 by Dr. Sanjib Banerjee, IIT Bhilai as the Host Faculty and Dr. Bruno Ameduri, ENSCM, France as the Foreign Instructor.

India initiates talks on green hydrogen exports to EU nations

The government initiated discussions for possible export of green hydrogen to France, Italy and Germany. India is targeting other European Union nations such as Netherlands, Austria and Sweden for its green hydrogen exports. Exports are sought under Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement.

According to a report of the National Green Hydrogen Mission, bilateral negotiations with Japan, South Korea and Singapore are “underway” for signing the agreements. The second meeting of the empowered group under the mission was held earlier this month, as reported by The Hindu Business Line.

IIT Bhilai: More Updates

Recently, the institute has signed MoU with DAAD to promote the exchange of faculty members between IIT Bhilai and Germany. The main aim of the bilateral exchange program is to foster collaboration between the two institutions and German universities or research institutions.
