GATE 2025 Admit Card to be Released Today: (Jan 7) Check Expected Time, Steps, and more

IIT Roorkee will activate the GATE 2025 admit card link TODAY (Jan 7, 2025). Candidates can access the facility to download the hall ticket online. Check below for more details. 

GATE 2025 ADMIT CARD

GATE 2025 Admit Card: IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 admit card for the GATE 2025 exam. The link to download the hall ticket will be available online at the GOAPS portal - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates registered for the GATE exam can download the admit card using their enrollment ID and password. 

The GATE hall ticket is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam hall. The admit card is an ID proof for the applicant appearing in the GATE exam. IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE examination on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The conducting authorities have also announced paper-wise test dates on the official website. 

Expected Time for GATE Admit Card Release

The GATE hall ticket can be released at any time. The conducting authority, IIT Roorkee, has rescheduled the GATE admit card release dates from January 2, 2025, to January 7, 2025. The hall ticket is expected to be released anytime at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Last year, the GATE 2024 admit card was released on January 4, 2024, at 6:00 pm. Candidates should check the website or stay tuned for our updates. 

Steps to Download GATE 2025, Admit Card

Candidates must be aware that the hall ticket for the GATE examination will be available only at the GATE portal, and they can access it by following the steps below-

  • Visit the official website- gate2025.iitr.ac.in
  • Click on the GATE GOAPS portal and log in using the credentials - enrollment ID and password.
  • Once logged in, the option to download the hall ticket will be mentioned on the screen.
  • Click on it, and the GATE admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Verify all the details and download it in the PDF format.
  • Keep two to three copies for future reference.

How to Retrieve GATE Login Credentials?

In case, a candidate has forgotten their login credentials, then they can retrieve them in the following way-

  • Visit the GATE’s website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in
  • Click on the candidate login and select forgot credential option
  • Enter your registered email ID and mobile number along with the captcha
  • An OTP will be sent to the registered contact details.
  • Provide the details and get the GATE enrollment ID and password.

GATE Exam Day Instructions

Candidates appearing for the GATE 2025 exam must follow the instructions provided by the authorities, which are as follows -

  • Candidates must check that all the details are correct. If there is any discrepancy, then it should be rectified and informed at the GATE 2025 help desk before the exam date.
  • They must reach the exam center 60 minutes before the exam time.
  • Applicants must carry a valid photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc., along with the admit card.
  • The hall ticket printouts must be clear and must be in coloured format.
  • Tempering with the GATE admit card can lead to disqualification.

GATE, also known as the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, is a national-level entrance examination jointly conducted by the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, and seven IITs (Delhi, Bombay, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee, and Guwahati). It is a computer-based test that offers admission to MTech/PhD in top institutions, such as NITs, IITs, IISc, and other premier government institutions.
