IIT-BHU students bag 474 job offers on Day 1

IIT-BHU placements 2022: Quantitative trading firm Graviton Research Capital offered the highest package of INR 1.2 crore. As many as 46 companies participated in the first two slots making a total of 169 offers.  

The Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi has received around 474 offers, including 305 pre-placement offers (PPOs), till the end of the first two slots of Day 1 of final placements, the institute said in a statement. 

Quantitative trading firm Graviton Research Capital offered the highest package of INR 1.2 crore. As many as 46 companies participated in the first two slots making a total of 169 offers. Companies that offered packages between INR 15 lakh and INR 1.2 crore included AppDynamics, Squarepoint Capital, Airbnb India, Rakuten Mobile, Sprinklr, Wells Fargo, Uber, Flipkart, Microsoft, Accenture, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Walmart, Piramal and Navi, among others.

Earlier, 305 students had received PPOs from 71 companies at packages between INR 7 lakh and INR 91 lakh-plus. PPOs were given by Microsoft, ServiceNow, American Express, Standard Chartered, BNY Mellon, Intuit, Adobe, Amazon, Axis Bank, Myntra, Google, Goldman Sachs, Samsung and PwC, among others. 

IITG placements begin with 168 offers on first two sessions of Day 1 

Meanwhile, a total of 168 offers were made by 46 companies during Day One’s Sessions 1.1 and 1.2 at IIT Guwahati across Software Development Engineer, Data Science, Quant, Core Engineer, UX Designer, VLSI, Vehicle Engineering, Analyst, Product Designer, etc. job profiles. The institute has received two international offers at the end of Session 1.2. It received highest international offer of INR 2.4 crore and domestic offer of INR 1.1 crore.  

IIT Madras students bag record 445 offers on Day 1 

IIT Madras recorded 445 offers on day 1 and session 1 of campus placements for the 2022-23 academic year. The figure, which includes pre-placement offers (PPOs), is the highest ever recorded in IIT Madras placements history at the end of session 1.1. It is around 10 per cent higher than last year’s figure of 407. A total of 25 offers with pay packages in excess of INR 1 crore per annum has been received at the end of session 1.1. A total of 15 international offers were received from four companies at the end of session 1.1.
