IIT Bombay Partners with Jindal Stainless for Exclusive Employee MTech Programme

The eligibility criteria for enrolment for MTech in Steel Technology include at least three years of employment at Jindal Stainless or its subsidiaries, a BTech degree in Mechanical or Metallurgy with atleast of 60% aggregate, and an exceptionally good performance in the organisation.

IIT Bombay Collaboration

Jindal Stainless has started the second batch of its fully sponsored two-year MTech programme in Steel Technology. The programme is in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay exclusively for its employees. The eligibility criteria for enrolment in the MTech programme in Steel Technology include at least three years of employment at Jindal Stainless or any of its subsidiaries, a BTech degree in Mechanical or Metallurgy with a minimum of 60% aggregate, and an exceptionally well performance in the organisation.

Managing Director of Jindal Stainless, Abhyuday Jindal, expressed his delight saying “This initiative aligns with our company’s long-term vision of producing highly-skilled professionals with specialised knowledge in predicting, and staying ahead of market trends. The employees from the first batch of the MTech programme in Steel Technology are currently performing their thesis assignments. A total of 11 employees are presently enrolled in both groups.

As part of Stainless Academy, Jindal Stainless presents stainless steel as an elective programme for all branches in government Polytechnic Colleges in Odisha and Haryana. Moreover, the organisation has incorporated stainless steel as an elective programme for all metallurgy courses at several IITs, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur and National Institute of Technology, Trichy.
