TechFest at IIT Bombay: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is organizing Techfest, the three-day annual science and technology festival till December 29, 2023. The collaboration between Techfest IIT Bombay and UNESCO, UNICEF, Make in India, and Digital India is expected to witness over 175,000 attendees and engage with an online audience surpassing three million through social media outreach.

The Techfest 2023 will feature captivating events such as international robowars and drone racing competitions. Apart from the tech exhibitions and lecture series, this year's festival has embraced the Energy Literacy Training initiative. Participants at IIT Bombay Techfest will not only be encouraged to take up the initiative, but all those who complete the 12-module course will get a certificate from the foundation. 

Through the event, IIT Bombay has also invited tech enthusiasts, defence aficionados, and the public to witness the historic confluence of minds at the Defense Symposium. Former chief of the army staff, Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria, former chief of air staff and Admiral Karambir Singh, former chief of naval staff will be present at the symposium. 

As per Indian Express, Shriya Kajrolkar, Media and Marketing Head for this yearโ€™s Techfest said Techfest 2023 will hold an education fair for the first time where international universities such as the University of Sydney, University of Otago, National Taiwan University, National University of Singapore, and the British Council will set up their kiosks to provide information on engaging courses they have to offer.
