IIT Delhi launches Certificate Programme in Project Management; Application deadline Oct 15
It is a six-month-long online certification program to be carried out on the Zoom platform through live online sessions on Saturdays and Sundays between 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Continuing Education Programme (CEP), at IIT Delhi, has launched an online Certificate Programme in Project Management: Theory & Practice.
The eligibility requirement is graduates (10+2+3) in any discipline/ Diploma Holders in any branch of Engineering from a recognised university. The evaluation criteria will be determined by the faculty. It will include quizzes, projects, case studies, assignments, etc.
The programme fee is INR 10,000 + GST (18%). The withdrawal from the programme will be governed by the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
"In the evolving global economy, the demand for project professionals is set to hit 25 million by 2030. To meet this need, 2.3 million individuals must join Project Management and Organizational Excellence annually. It aligns projects with organizational goals, optimizes resources, manages risks, ensures quality, and adapts to change," says the official notification.
The organising department of this programme is the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Delhi. Only an e-certificate will be provided, and it will be issued by CEP, IIT Delhi. To get the certificate, a minimum of 50% in the evaluation elements and consistent attendance of 70% in lectures and tutorials is needed.
This programme is designed to provide professionals, from seasoned project managers to enthusiastic newcomers, with a remarkable chance to acquire a profound understanding of project management's fundamentals.
