IIT Delhi: Office of Career Services unveils its official logo

The Office of Career Services (OCS) at IIT Delhi has unveiled its official logo, which reflects its ethos and depicts what it stands for. 

Prof Rangan Banerjee, Director, IIT Delhi unveiled the official logo of the Office of Career Services (OCS), which reflects the ethos of OCS and depicts what it stands for. The logo portrays that the OCS gives IIT Delhi students wings and launches them into a future full of success and prosperity.

Speaking about the official OCS logo, Dr Anishya Obhrai Madan, Head, Office of Career Services, IIT Delhi, said, “The logo illustrates the essence of what the OCS works for which is to guide students to make informed career choices and give wings to their aspirations for a bright future”.

Philosophy behind IIT Delhi's OCS logo

The logo consists of two parts: the emblem and the typographic body. Below is a brief description of the OCS logo and the philosophy behind it.

The launching of the logo also marked the beginning of the internship and placement season for the academic year 2022-23. The summer internship hiring process commenced on August 13, 2022, in which national and international recruiting organisations are participating. Registrations for the placement hiring have also started. Final placement interviews shall commence on December 01, 2022, like in previous years and will go on till the end of May 2023.

The Institute welcomes all the national and international recruiting organisations showing the intent of hiring the best talent from IIT Delhi. The OCS is looking forward to a robust hiring season and hopes that like in previous years this year also most of the IIT Delhi students would be able to bag offers in the careers of their choice.
