IIT Delhi Placement: Over 50 students receive Rs. 1 Cr per annum offers

An increase of 20% in the number of job offers received has been witnessed over last year during the same period.

Placement season at IIT Delhi for the academic year 2022-23 has commenced with around 650 full-time job offers and around 550 unique job selections were bagged by students by the end of Day 1 spanning December 1 and 2, 2022. This includes over 250 pre-placement offers. Many students have also bagged multiple placement offers. An increase of 20% in the number of job offers received has been witnessed over last year during the same period.

Around 400 national and international organizations offering over 800 job profiles across multiple sectors have already registered for hiring students as of now.

Top recruiters on the campus on Day 1 in terms of the number of students offered include American Express, Bajaj Auto, Boston Consulting Group, Enphase Solar Energy, Intel, Praxis Global Alliance, and Strategy&.

Over 50 students have bagged domestic offers with CTC of more than Rs. 1 Cr per annum. Around 20 students have received international job offers from geographies spanning Hong Kong, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States. Some students have accepted domestic offers over international offers.

This year, the hiring processes are being conducted in both physical and virtual modes depending on the recruiter’s convenience. Unlike many other campuses, the entire interview process is conducted in a single slot each day. This translates to NO graveyard shifts or multiple shifts within a day. At IIT Delhi, organizations are slotted to conduct their selection processes in a way to maximize the spread of recruiters and ensure a good mix of sectors on each day; thus, providing ample time for recruiters to make optimal selection judgments leading to better hiring decisions.
