IIT Delhi's Executive Programme Aims for a $37 Billion Industry by 2030

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, has introduced an Executive Programme in Healthcare Entrepreneurship and Management as part of its Continuing Education Programme (CEP).
The digital transformation of India's healthcare industry is expected to experience exponential growth, projecting an increase from $2.7 billion in 2022 to approximately $37 billion by 2030, according to a report by Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and B Capital. This surge is propelled by the rapid digitization, widespread adoption of innovative health-tech platforms, collaborative ventures, and favourable funding environments.
The Executive Programme, spanning five months, equips professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to capitalize on entrepreneurship opportunities in the healthcare sector. With 80 hours of synchronous live online lectures and over 40 hours of project work, the program covers cutting-edge prototype development processes, tools, and testing methods, emphasizing the role of AI/ML in navigating the business landscape.
Participants will engage in a comprehensive curriculum covering essential topics such as product branding, pricing, sales, commercialization, and management concepts related to business model development, funding, and intellectual property. The program aims to provide practical insights for successfully establishing a healthcare business.
Key highlights of the programme include:
- Certification of Completion issued by CEP, IIT Delhi upon successful course completion.
- Flexibility of learning from any location.
- Learning from distinguished faculty at IIT Delhi, industry experts, healthcare entrepreneurs, and AIIMS doctors.
- In-depth curriculum covering diverse concepts and applications, with practical experience through hands-on projects.
- Networking opportunities with like-minded individuals for enriching peer interactions.
- Access to startup assistance for further support in the educational journey.
The programme is designed for a diverse audience, including graduates aspiring to be part of India's healthcare ecosystem or establish healthcare start-ups, doctors, biomedical/biotech/interdisciplinary engineers, researchers, medical professionals, and postgraduate students in healthcare-related areas.
The Executive Programme is set to commence on April 6, 2024, and the last date to apply is March 31, 2024, with limited intake. The fees for the programme are INR 1,10,000/- plus GST.
