Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dharwad has invited applications for admissions to its PhD and MS programmes in Electrical Engineering for the 2023-24 academic year. The last date to apply is April 26, 2023. Those interested can apply by visiting the following link – https://iitdh.ac.in/academics_phd.php.
As per the official website of IIT Dharwad, all international applicants, i.e. those with a passport other than Indian passport, can apply using the study-in-India portal to select programmes in IIT Dharwad. The Government of India has announced a special fellowship scheme for applicants from ASEAN countries to PhD programmes in IITs - Doctoral Fellowships in India for ASEAN (DIA). Interested candidates can apply for DIA fellowship scheme by visiting the following link – https://asean-iit.in/. Candidates are advised to read the admission brochure and check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The application fee once paid will not be refunded.
Students may be admitted as full-time or part-time research scholars. The full time research scholars are expected to carry out their research normally at the Institute. The part time studentsneed to be available full-time till they complete their coursework. They can carry out the research at their parent organisation.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission to PhD programme

| Minimum marks/CPI in Qualifying Degree | If a candidate does not have M.Tech. or equivalent degree, the candidate MUST fulfil any one of the following 2) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) of CSIR/UGC or DST INSPIRE Fellowship |
