IIT Gandhinagar Invites Researchers for PhD Continuing Programme 2024-25 Semester II

IIT Gandhinagar PhD Admission: IITGN has started accepting applications for admission to its PhD Continuing Doctoral Programme for the academic year 2024-25 for semester II. Check eligibility here

IIT Gandhinagar PhD Admission: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar has released the application form PhD Continuing Doctoral Programme 2024-25 for semester 2. Those meeting the eligibility requirements can apply for the IIT Gandhinagar PhD Continuing Doctoral Programme till October 17, 2024. They have to visit the official website: iitgn.ac.in/admissions/phd to apply for IITGN PhD admission.

Based on that, the list of selected candidates for the IIT Gandhinagar PhD Continuing Doctoral Programme will be released on October 24 to 26, 2024. The IITGN PhD admission written test and interview will be conducted between November 1 to 20, 2024.

Who are eligible for IIT Gandhinagar PhD Continuing Programme 2024-25?

As per the official website, the minimum eligibility requirement is candidates must have secured 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PD) or 5.5 CPI (5.0 CPI for SC/ST/PD) in M.A./M.Sc./B.Tech./MTech./BS (IISc, IISER)/BS-MS (IISER) or in equivalent qualifying degree in respective branches. However, the department-wise IITGN PhD admission eligibility criteria might vary.

The respective departments may apply higher cut-off criteria for shortlisting, while also considering the quality of responses in the application form. Candidates from SC/ST/PD categories will be eligible for relaxations in the selection process, as per applicable norms.

Final selection will primarily depend on academic qualifications, performance in the written test (if applicable), and the interview.
