IIT Gandhinagar has extended the deadline to apply for MTech/MSc and PhD programmes. Candidates meeting eligibility criteria can fill up IIT Gandhinagar MTech/MSc and PhD programme application form online at itgn.ac.in/admissions by April 3, 2024. Know steps to apply

IIT Gandhinagar Admission: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar has extended the last date to apply for MTech/MSc and PhD programmes. Candidates who are yet to apply must fill up the IIT Gandhinagar MTech/MSc and PhD programme application form by April 3, 2024 now. They can apply for MTech/MSc and PhD programme at iitgn.ac.in/admissions/eamtech and iitgn.ac.in/admissions/sephd respectively. 

All selected candidates for PhD will get fellowship of INR 47,000 per month (with valid GATE score) and INR 37,000 (without GATE score). Whereas those selected for MTech/MSc programmes will get INR 12,400+ 3,000 (Director's fellowship) per month (with valid GATE score) and INR 6,000 (without GATE score).

IIT Gandhinagar MTech/MSc and PhD Programme Admission

As mentioned on the official website, the IITGN admission to PhD and MTech/MSc is generally offered based on an interview, which is supplemented by a written test if necessary. The final selection is based on academic credentials, written test and/or interview.

The reserved category candidates are given due relaxation in cutoff marks as per the norms. The mode (offline/online) and dates for the written test (if any) and interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates by their respective departments.
