IIT Gandhinagar offers course on ‘CNC Programming and CAD/CAM Integration’

IIT Gandhinagar is all set to offer a course on ‘CNC Programming and CAD/CAM Integration’ from July 17 to July 21, 2023.

IIT Gandhinagar is hosting a comprehensive training course on ‘CNC Programming and CAD/CAM Integration’ from July 17 to July 21, 2023. This course aims to empower participants with the expertise necessary to optimise efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in precision manufacturing. 

The students will learn about CNC Programming Fundamentals, CAD Design Principles CAD/CAM Software, CAD/CAM Integration and Toolpath Generation, CAD/CAM Integration for CNC Programming, auto coding generations 2d to 3d and CAM generation. Certificates will be provided after the successful completion of an assessment.

Dr Deepu Benson, a Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Gandhinagar's Theoretical Computer Science Group, in his research analysed connections between Boolean Derivatives, formal language theory, and Hazard Free Circuits.

Dr Deepu Benson and Prof Balagopal Komarth from the Computer Science and Engineering discipline of IITGN and Prof Jayalal Sarma from IIT Madras are involved in this study. Their research is funded under Science and Engineering Research Board’s Start-up Research Grant (SERB-SRG).
