IIT Gandhinagar Summer Internship Program 2022; Apply by March 25

IIT Gandhinagar SRIP 2022: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar has invited applications for admission to the 8 weeks Summer Research Internship Program from May 6 to July 15, 2022. Interested applicants may submit applications at http://srip.iitgn.ac.in/portal/projects/ latest by March 25, 2022. Applicants must not send hard copy of the filled application form to IITGN.
About IIT-GN Summer Research Internship Program
Students and faculty from Prominent institutes across the country come together under this programme. Visitors coming together under IIT Gandhinagar SRIP 2022 would participate in ongoing research projects, undergo mentorship by IITGN faculty and develop close partnerships and collaborations between respective institutions.
IIT Gandhinagar SRIP 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants applying for the IIT Gandhinagar summer internship should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at a prominent institution in India. Selected candidates would be required to work with an IITGN faculty. They may review the list of participating faculty along with the description of projects being offered, at http://srip.iitgn.ac.in/portal/projects/ Applicants may apply for internships based on their interests and prior experience. They are free to apply for projects outside their declared degree specializations. Candidates must note that SRIP 2022 will be conducted in offline mode.
Students working under SRIP 2022 are expected to work on-campus in-person and interact with the faculty mentor on a regular basis. This mode is open to all the students (Internal and External). Summer interns would be provided with hostel accommodation facilities and students would be required to pay the applicable hostel charges.
Applicants will be required to make a presentation to the institute and submit a report at the end of the tenure. Weekly stipend of INR 2000 will be paid after completion of the internship. The stipend for faculty-funded projects, however, may vary.
