IIT Guwahati, NSDC and Acciojob Collaborate on Cybersecurity and Data Analytics Training for Youth
NSDC signed a tripartite MoU with IIT, Guwahati and Acciojob to launch a microcredit cybersecurity and data analytics program to build top-tier skilled professionals in India.
IIT Guwahati, NSDC and Acciojob Collaborates
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, in collaboration with Acciojob and under the partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) supported by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), has signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement initiates an unparalleled microcredit program in cybersecurity and data analytics, aiming to develop high-calibre skilled professionals across India.
Through this collaboration, students will benefit from a curriculum that sets industry standards and is specifically designed to align with the current employment landscape. The faculty members from IIT Guwahati will conduct all courses via online training sessions. This approach not only enhances the learning experience but also expands networking possibilities and opens up a wider array of significant job opportunities for the students.
This initiative enables young individuals from various parts of the country to easily access premier education from a prominent institution such as IIT Guwahati. Such access is designed to hasten both transformative and community-specific impacts on society at large. The exchange of MoUs took place between Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO and Managing Director of NSDC International, and Yashwardhan Burad, CEO of Acciojob.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC and MD, NSDC International said, “The collaboration with Acciojob is a significant step in this endeavour. The pioneering initiative will play a significant role in leveraging the skills of the youth to protect digital assets and safeguard sensitive information and lays the groundwork for a secure and resilient digital future for all."
