IIT Guwahati Placements 2023 Record 712 Offers by Dec 6; Rs 1.20 Crore Highest Domestic Offer

IIT Guwahati Placements 2023: In the ongoing session, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati received a total of 712 offers till December 6, 2023. The top domestic offer hits Rs.1.20 crore, while internationally, the highest offer reaches Rs.2.05 crore. As per IIT Guwahati's social media post, 38 percent of students got jobs in core industries, while 36 percent secured roles in software development and product sectors. 

Additionally, 26 percent were offered positions in analyst and finance profiles. As of now, IIT Guwahati students have secured 214 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) for the academic year 2023-24 in core engineering and finance sectors. The phase 1 IIT Guwahati placement will likely continue till December 15, 2023.

Some of the prominent companies that took part in the IIT Guwahati placement drive included Google, Microsoft, Mercedes, Bank of America, Bharat Petroleum, Bajaj, HPCL, Akasa Air, Navi, Piramal, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments. These recruiters actively engaged in the IIT Guwahati placement process.

In this academic year, Phase 1 IIT Guwahati placements recorded registration from a comprehensive pool of over 250 companies, encompassing more than 50 start-ups and seven public sector undertakings. 

IIT Guwahati Placements 2023 Highest Package

Till Now, IIT Guwahati has secured 11 placement offers exceeding Rs 1 crore and has seen 90 students receive offers surpassing Rs 50 lakh per annum CTC. The ongoing phase 1 of the 2023-24 placement session involves 1,491 students from various study streams. The Phase 1 placement process at IIT Guwahati is expected to persist until December 15, 2023.
