IIT Hyderabad: MTech July 2023 application deadline extended till April 27

IIT Hyderabad admits candidates for the MTech program under the following categories - Teaching Assistantship (TA), Research Assistantship through Project (RAP), Self-Sponsored Candidates (SPS), Govt Lab/Industry Sponsored, and online programs for working professionals. The last date to apply is April 27, 2023. The admission is open to all GATE-qualified candidates.

All GATE-qualified candidates who intend to apply to IIT Hyderabad for MTech admission must know that the last date to apply is April 27, 2023.

The M.Tech. programs offered in various disciplines and streams by different departments of the institute are based on the credit system and provide a student with a wide choice of courses. Each program comprises several core and elective courses and project work.

MTech Program is available in AI, BioMedical Engineering, Bio-Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Climate Change, Computational Mechanics and more.

MTech application process at IIT Hyderabad

Candidates applying to programmes/categories where the GATE score is optional may fill GATE ID and score as '0' if a valid GATE score is not available.

Following are the steps the candidates need to follow to apply for the MTech Programmes at IIT Hyderabad:

1. Registration: The registration page will ask you to provide a valid login id, email address and password. This email address will be used for further communication with the candidate.
2. Login into the System: Please provide the login id and password which you had chosen at the time of registration. (Whenever you login first time the system will ask you for a secret key which you received through the email at the time of registration)
3. Click on the link 'Click here to apply' and Choose the department by clicking on the arrow of the corresponding department.
4. Fill or update your application details by clicking on the appropriate arrows. Please note that once you fill or update the information in the appropriate form you need to click on either save/submit button so that your data will be stored in the system.
