IIT Hyderabad Opens Admissions for MTech (RA) with Project Funding; Know Details Here

To apply for the M.Tech programme at IIT Hyderabad, the candidate needs to follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website of IIT Hyderabad and navigate to the "Admissions" section.
2. Look for the M.Tech programme you want to apply for and find the application link.
3. Register on the website by creating an account using a valid email id and mobile number.
4. Fill in the application form with all the required information such as personal details, educational qualifications, GATE score, and other relevant information.
5. Upload all the required documents such as mark sheets, degree certificates, GATE scorecards, etc.
6. Pay the application fee, which is usually around INR 600 for the General/OBC category and INR 300 for SC/ST category.
7. Submit the application form before the last date of submission.
8. Wait for the shortlisting of candidates based on their GATE score and further process for admission will be announced by the institute.

To join IIT Hyderabad aspriring candidates need to clear JEE, GATE, CEED or UCEED. To be eligible for the BTech programme at IIT Hyderabad aspring candidates need to clear JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced and they also need to have 75% in their class 12 exam. The BTech programme is offered under 15 specialisations at IIT Hyderabad. Some of the specialisations include Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering.

The primary method of admission is based on entrance exams, specifically the JEE Advanced exam Only the top 2.5 Lacs students from JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Once students have qualified for JEE Advanced, they must then appear for the exam and score above the cutoff marks set by IIT Hyderabad. The final selection of students for admission is done through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process.
