IIT Indore invites applications from UG/PG, PhD students for semester exchange, research fellowship

IIT Indore invited applications from UG/PG and PhD students for semester exchange and short-term collaborative research fellowship for the academic year 2023-24.

Applications are invited for the Semester Exchange Program from UG/PG students and for short-term collaborative Research Fellowships from PhD students of IIT Indore. The major goal of the program is to promote long-term collaborations between foreign institutions/universities and IIT Indore. This program will provide opportunities for IIT Indore UG/PG and PhD students to work in the advanced research fields and encourage the exchange of ideas and technologies to promote academic excellence.

For the Semester Exchange Program, UG students of the 7th semester and PG students of the 3rd semester can apply. UG students who are in the 7th semester can visit in their 8th semester and PG students who are in the 3rd semester can visit in their 4th semester. The total number of fellowships for each of the program is 10. The review committee will select the applications on a merit basis.

The financial support provided is living expenses of INR 35,000 per month (in addition to their regular fellowship), round trip economy class airfare, as per the actuals or to a maximum of INR 1,20,000 for US, Canada, and Australia; INR 1,00,000 for Europe, UK, Africa and Japan and INR 80,000 for SAARC, Asian, ASEAN and Middle East countries. For the Ph.D. program, students registered in a Ph.D. program at IIT Indore are eligible, these students should have completed their coursework, and students who have completed 3.5 years or more are not eligible.

The application deadline for both these programs is October 15, 2023.
