IIT Kanpur Extends Registration Deadline for ‘Hack IITK 2024’ Cybersecurity Hackathon to Jan 17
C3iHub, IIT Kanpur, has extended the registration deadline for the Global Cybersecurity Hackathon, ‘Hack IITK 2024,’ to accommodate growing enthusiasm and allow more participants to join.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur's C3iHub, the Cybersecurity Technology Innovation Hub, has extended the registration deadline for the Global Cybersecurity Hackathon, ‘Hack IITK 2024.’ Initially set to close on January 9, 2025, registrations will now be open until January 17, 2025, to accommodate the overwhelming enthusiasm and enable more participants to join the event.
Along with the extended registration period, C3iHub is launching a webinar series featuring top academic and industry experts. These sessions will provide expert guidance, valuable insights, and inspiration. The first webinar, scheduled for January 12, 2025, will focus on key cybersecurity aspects to help participants address critical challenges in the field.
Hack IITK 2024
Hack IITK 2024 will feature two qualification rounds, with the first set for January 12, 2025, and the second on January 18, 2025, ensuring more participants have the chance to compete. The hackathon offers a total prize pool of over INR 30 lakhs, including INR 5 lakhs in cash prizes and AWS Cloud Credits for the winners. C3iHub invites students, professionals, and startups worldwide to register for this exciting event and play a role in advancing cybersecurity innovation. Conceptualised by C3iHub and powered by Techkriti, this flagship event aims to unite innovators, students, and startups to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges through competition and innovation. Partners such as Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL), Saptang Labs, NTT DATA, SecureDApps, cloud partner Amazon Web Services (AWS), and platform partners Hack2Skill and Prutor are collaborating to deliver a world-class competitive experience at Hack IITK 2024. The event has already attracted over 7,000 registrations in the Solution Track and more than 25 innovative startup ideas in the Startup Track.
