IIT Kanpur ‘Class of 1999’ Pledges Rs 11.6 Crore at Silver Jubilee Reunion

IIT Kanpur recently hostel silver jubilee reunion for its Class of 1999, during which the batch pledged Rs. 11.6 Crore for supporting various activities on campus, reaffirming their unwavering support for the institute's continued growth and success.
This generous contribution underscores the alumni's dedication to IIT Kanpur’s growth by supporting key initiatives that enhance infrastructure, advance research, and foster academic excellence, further solidifying the institute’s leadership in technological innovation.
The reunion brought together over 180 alumni and their families from around the world, offering them an opportunity to reconnect and reflect on shared experiences. Throughout the three-day celebration, attendees revisited their journeys, reconnected with one another, and reaffirmed their commitment to IIT Kanpur's ongoing pursuit of excellence.

Q: How much is the IIT Kanpur MBA fee?
IIT Kanpur MBA total tuition fee ranges between INR 2.8 Lacs and INR 13.1 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee excludes admission fee, security deposits, semester fee and hostel charges. There is relaxation in fee for reserved category students. Candidates need to pay fee after completion of the selection rounds, to confirm their seat.
Apart from the tuition fee, aspirants need to register with an application fee in the start of the admission process. The application fee is INR 1,600 for General/ OBC (NCL) candidates. The fee is low (INR 800) for SC/ ST/ DAP candidates.
